The Public Works Department will begin flushing Fire Hydrants on May 1, 2017. Flushing will continue throughout the month and until the project is completed. Please be aware that water pressure may be low for a period of time while the hydrants near you are being flushed. Air may develop in water pipes after the hydrants are flushed and you may experience discoloration and noise when you first run the water. Each of these items should stop after the water is run.
Thank you for your patience while the hydrants are flushed.
Appointments are required. Please call the Village Clerk at 608-849-5422 to make an appointment.
The village is currently missing 4 picnic tables from Bert Deans Park. If you have a table, know a neighbor has a table or are aware of where a table might be, we would really appreciate having the tables returned to the park. These tables are not to be taken for private use. The tables are to remain in the parks at all times. Please help to return the tables as soon as possible.
“Garage Sale Days” for the Village of Dane have been set for Thursday May 11, 2017 to Saturday, May 13, 2017. Other communities will be holding sales during the same time. These dates were chosen and set by the Home Town Newsgroup Newspaper Staff with some input from the Village Clerk. The sale dates are promoted by the Village of Dane Clerk’s Office so interested residents can hold their sales when others in the village are having garage sales too. Working together with your neighbors can bring in more shoppers and possibly generate increased sales. Joint advertising is a great way to keep cost down and increase traffic to your street. If you would like to place an advertisement in the Lodi, Poynette or Waunakee newspaper, please contact the Home Town News Group Office in Lodi by May 1 ,2017.
