The Village Clerk’s Office can not dispatch officers. Any messages left on the clerk’s voicemail are responded to only Monday through Friday during business hours; Monday through Friday -8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This Public Hearing will be held tonight in the Dane Village Hall. Please plan to attend if you are intereted.
The Village of Dane has only 30 chairs left that are for sale from the Dane Community Center. The chairs are red and black and in good shape.
The price is now $5 per chair. There are only a few left and will be sold on a first come first serve basis! And we will still take any offers for the remaining chairs. Please contact Teresa in the Village Clerk’s Office at 608-849-5422.

“NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS IN NEED”
The ever-popular Tunes 4 Tots Class is now accepting registration for fall 2017. Classes will begin on Thursday, September 14, 2017 and run through December 7. No class will be held the week of November 23, 2017 due to Thanksgiving. Classes will be on Thursday nights ONLY this fall. Classes start at **6:30 pm and end at 7:00 pm. ** (Begin and end times has been changed) This is a PARENT PARTICIPATION MUSIC PROGRAM designed for preschoolers and yournger children; however, ALL children are welcome. The class offers lots of fun with sing-a-long songs, motion and dance, rythmm and ryhmes, and instruments. Sometimes simple art projects or crafts are included in the evening activities.
Your child will build self-esteem and learn to be confident in themselves while having loads of FUN!! Everyone can share with family and friends by participating in a program, at the end of the 12 weeks, to show what amazing things we learned. Help your child tap into their creative side through music. Come join the fun and make new friends while you share music as the universal language. The Village Board of Trustee adopted this Ordinance on July 11, 2017 at their regular meeting. The Ordinance will be published on Thursday July 20 in the Lodi Enterprise and then added to our Ordinances in the next supplement due out later this year.
The Village of Dane Ordinances require anyone planning to shoot fireworks within the village limits to apply for a permit with the Village Clerk. Permits are issued by the Village President on an annual basis. Citations can be issued if you do not have the proper permit. The requirement of the permit is for safety for all property owners and residents of the Village. Applications are available from the Village Clerk and must be completed and submitted to the Village Board before being issued. An Indemnity Bond is also required.
The Farmer’s Market in the Village of Dane has changed locations. It is located in the village parking lot in front of Lake Melvin on E. Main Street next to the Old Associated Bank Building. The Market meets every Tuesday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact Ron Miller. The Farmer’s Market is open from May through October as weather allows.
