The Farmer’s Market in the Village of Dane has changed locations. It is located in the village parking lot in front of Lake Melvin on E. Main Street next to the Old Associated Bank Building. The Market meets every Tuesday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Everyone is welcome. For more information contact Ron Miller. The Farmer’s Market is open from May through October as weather allows.
I apologize if you tried to attend the Board meeting last Tuesday, due to the lack of a quorum, the meeting was postponed until Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 6:30 pm. If you are interested in attending Board meetings it is a good practise to check here on the website and your email if you are on the list serve, before heading out to attend since meetings can be cancelled due to emergencies or postponed late in the day.
A Summer Reading Program sponsored by the Dane County Library System will be held again this summer. The Bookmobile will be in the village of Dane at the Community Center on Monday nights from 6 – 8 pm. The Spring Election will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm. All Village of Dane residents vote at the Dane Community Center, 102 W. Main Street, Dane.
If you are new to the village or have moved or changed your name since you last voted, please plan to register before April 4th. New registration can be completed in the Village Clerk’s office at any time with the proper documentation.
Absentee Voting will be available aon Monday, http://laparkan.com/buy-tadalafil/ Marcgh 13 in the Clerk’s Office. If you need to Absentee Vote, please bring your Voter I.D. when you come to vote. The Clerk’s Office is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm MOnday through Friday. Calling before you come to verify the office is open is the best option.
The Spring Election in April includes local races for Village Trustees, and Lodi School Board; other county and state races will be on the ballot as well.
