2024 ELECTIONS

Tuesday, April 2, 2024 – Spring Election and Primary for the Presidential Preference – this election includes the Presidential Preference Primary, Judicial Appeals Judge- District 4, Circuit Court Judge-Branch 1, Branch 8, and Branch 10, 11, and 12, County Supervisor-District 29, Municipal Local Races for Village President, Village Trustees- 2 seats, and Lodi School District School Board Members- 3 seats.

Spring Election and Presidential Preference- Tuesday, April 2, 2024 – Polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm. We appreciate absentee ballots being returned to Village Hall before Election Day.  Please be aware that if you wait too long to return your absentee ballot, it may not be able to be processed.  

In-Person Absentee Voting will begin on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 and run through 5 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024.  The Clerk’s office will be open regular hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily. A special appointment can be made by calling the clerks office at 608-849-5422, if you are unable to come during regular business hours.  You can register in the Clerk’s office by brining a photo ID, and utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck stub- in paper form or electronically.  Absentee ballots received in the mail should be dropped of in the clerk’s office in person or mailed to the municipality. Postage to return an absentee ballot is provided on the envelope.  Please do not leave your absentee ballot in the utility payment drop box.  It will not be considered as acceptable, if returned using the outside drop box.

General & Presidential Election – November 5, 2024 

All village residents vote at the Village Community Center, 102 W Main Street, Dane WI 53529

Anyone new moving into the village, changing their name, or moving within the village limits must register to vote.  You can register online at my.wi.gov during the open period or in person at the Village Clerk’s Office.  Bring your photo ID, and your proof of residence (like a utility bill, bank statement, lease, or pay stub showing your current name and address.

Bring your Voter ID when you come to vote.

This information is imperative, if you want your vote to be counted. All Absentee Ballots must be returned to the polling place before  8 PM in order to be counted.

The Polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm on Election Day. If you are in line at 8 pm, you will be able to cast your ballot.
