Committee Members

Chair Person – Joseph Morgan, Village Staff Member – Jacob Lehr, Committee Members – Jennifer Bevars, Cathy Brodbeck, Emily Culp, Derek Ripp, Jackie Wheeler, and Joe Fleischmann. 

The Parks, Recreation and Forestry  Committee meets as needed. This is a new committee that was formed in 2022. In 2023, the committee finished their work with MSA Planner, Emily Soderberg, and the group gave major input on the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan and also the Village of Dane Parks Master Plan. The Master Plan will assist in future improvements to all outdoor spaces in the Village of Dane. 

The Master Plan is on the regular Village Board meeting agenda for Monday, April 8, 2024.  The plan may be adopted by the Village Trustees at that meeting.  The Parks Master Plan can be viewed by clicking this link for more information.
